Happy Thursday all! This Thursday brings us song Number four of our Tofino Sessions. These photos are Polaroids that we took tough-out the weekend of us and our cabin living!
Hello Wednesday listeners! Time for Song three of of our five song ocean front adventure, The Ride! All these tracks were recorded on the deck of our cabin overlooking the ocean. We really wanted the sounds of the ocean to come though and be a part of the recording. I think it worked out alright!
This past weekend the industrious members of My Friend Lisa made the trek out to Tofino BC for fun & profit. While there we decided that recording some tracks near the ocean would be a fantastic idea. So we did! these are somewhat rough mixes of our session with the ocean but we enjoy them. Now so can you! Every day this week we will post an new track for your listening pleasure! Let us know what you think.
So last week there may have been a shooter party, we may have all gotten just a wee bit drunk, we also may have wanted to branch out and perhaps explore some of our own personal limitations, we may have decided that sitting privately in my building stairwell would be the best place to see if we could play/sing drunk, we also may have recorded it for some sober reflection.
What came of all this you might ask? Well a 3 & 3/4 song ep of Shannon & I playing drunk in the stairwell that we are lovingly referring to as The Stairwell Sessions! Over the next 3 & 3/4 weeks we will be ‘releasing’ a new track from this session starting with this weeks track London!!
